Lake Pleasant Cruise
Cruise Experiences
Another one of my favorite desert oasis’s is Lake Pleasant Regional Park by the Sonoran Desert and there are tons of water and outdoor activities but booking a cruise has to be on your itinerary. What makes this experience cool is how personalized it can be to your vacation needs. Gather the girls and go for the brunch cruise with full bar service and buffet style food. Take the kiddos on a narrated cruise and learn about the incredible wildlife of our famous Sonoran Desert. Or if you have something more special planned book a private charter cruise perfect for intimate events like weddings, dinner parties, and birthdays. With less than a hour drive, make this event apart of your summer dream vacation!
Stays
While the cruise must come to an end you can always book your stay nearby Lake Pleasant Regional Park at a hotel, resort, or even a house boat!

Paqua Park Water Obstacle
Park Experience Rules + Costs
This trending summer destination in Arizona reminds me of the reality competition where the contestants try to navigate an extreme obstacle course! Paqua Park is located at Scorpion Bay Marina on Lake Pleasant in Peoria, Arizona with sessions as long as 45 minutes. This is a family-friendly spot but kids must be at least 7 years old and 45″ tall to get on. A few other important notes there are no designated wait areas, no shade on the dock, or benches for family or friend members to observe. Also make sure to keep your personal items as minimal as possible! Apart from booking your session on their website, there is a regional Parks and Recreation charge of $7 per car to enter the park, so make sure to carry some change. Walk-ups are available but its better to buy your tickets in advance and book a reservation as it tends to get busy on the weekends!
Stays
Unfortunately, you can’t make overnight reservations at Paqua Park but there are plenty of hotels and resorts nearby.

Antelope Canyon
Antelope Experience
Arizona is known for having one of the 12 wonders of the world being the Grand Canyon but I seriously believe they should reconsider adding a 13th place which has to be Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. This experience is fully guided tour that immerses you in the beauty of the sandstone walls that were created by millions of years of water and wind erosion. If you want to get the perfect picture make sure to plan your visit around midday March through October too see the sun create light shafts illuminating the walls with pink, red, orange, and gold patterns. Cost for tours can start from $90 it will depend when you book your visit. If you promised yourself you’d travel to more beautiful places this bucket list destination is a must!
Stays
Make this trip an unforgettable one by booking a stay in Page, Arizona so you can also visit other incredible spots like Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam Overlook, and Wahweap Overlook!
